Renovated, attention to detail in the internal decoration, everything inside was new. It was quiet, with very comfortable bed, coffee machine and very nice bathroom. The only downside was the attitude of the woman in charge of the room when we asked for clean sheets. In general it's very recommendable for a long stay or short stay as well.

The apartments are in a very central and good spot. We spend there a week but one can stay much longer. It was new, with all amenities (plus coffee and tea), very nicely decorated and very clean. The view was on a garden and it was very quiet. The bath was very big and the mattress was soft and comfortable.... More

Situated in the heart of Amsterdam, just a few streets away from the hustle and bustle. Despite the central location the appartment is very quiet and the tranquil garden makes for a great place to relax after a hectic day sightseeing. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well equipped for a week stay. We stayed in the Vincent Van... More

I stayed for two weeks in the Herman Brood apartment in August. The apartment is (almost) on the top floor with a great view over the canal. You need a good head for heights climbing up the narrow stairs - but this is all part of the charm. Service was good - the room was cleaned 1 or 2 times... More

We stayed in the Van Gogh apartment, which was tastefully furnished and had access to a beautiful and charming outdoor garden with a sitting area perfect for lunches. The caretaker Milany was extremely accommodating and available in case we had any questions - but she had explained everything so well when we first arrived that we hardly needed to bother... More

We are currently staying in The beautiful Vermeer apartment for the second time. Will happily return here next time we are in Amsterdam. Melanie the live in caretaker is so lovely, kind and welcoming.. The large living area of this apartment is nicely furnished and just fabulous and we feel like we are living in our own apartment in the... More

We booked the Jeroen Bosch apartment in April for a late September stay of 5 nights. We wanted to stay in a canal house but needed a property on the ground floor because of the notoriously steep stairs. My husband has had heart surgery and I have arthritic knees. Climbing the stairs would be problematic, especially with luggage. We received... More

review from a youngish couple (26yo fit not fussy) there was confusion with someone apparently cancelling our booking(booked via expedia) which had us very worried at 6:30pm on a cold amsterdam night. thankfully with some help from another guest calling the attendnt we were in there within 15 minutes. she explained there simply must have been a mix up and... The hotel's location is central, overlooking Keizersgracht, yet in a calm and quite neighbourhood, there's a tram and bus stations close by, making it easy to get at by public transport from both Central Station and the airport. We faced a small problem upon arrival as our room was was already given to someone else (a double booking issue due... More

Neighborhood Profile
Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
