We had a wonderful four days in Amsterdam at Parc9 B & B, where guest quarters include not only 2 large en suite bedrooms on ground floor but also a gorgeous living room, dining room, kitchen and garden terrace. Peter and Robert, owners of this 1800s building on Sarphati Park, are gracious and welcoming hosts, and the neighborhood is vibrant,... More

We spent four nights with Peter and Robert at this delightfully relaxing B&B. We had the two ensuite rooms which were spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. The lounge, dining room, kitchen and garden were ours to use during the day. Breakfast of cheese, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fruit salad, juices and delicious bread were in the kitchen for us to have... We were very happy we chose this B&B. Peter was friendly, helpful and an interesting host. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, and the large lounge/dining room is interestingly furnished. Breakfast was usually self-service, with a good range of nice foods. The neighbourhood is a wonderful mix of vibrant (just round the corner) and quiet (the immediate street). Close to... More

We had a great stay here. The hosts, Peter and Robert, were so friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There were also lovely common areas to have breakfast and a nice garden to relax. The location was perfect. It was in a neighborhood full of locals, but still close enough to walk to... More

This B&B really is an excellent choice. The location is just far enough outside the centre to be quiet, however in a fabulous location for the market, museums, bars and restaurants. The building is stunning, with a lovely living and dining area, and garden if the weather is nice enough. The rooms are a generous size, with large wardrobe and... More

If you are looking for a great B & B in Amsterdam you could not do better than stay at this wonderful B & B. The B & B has a fantastic location, it is opposite a lovely park, with restaurants and a market just around the corner. It is a short and pleasant walk to the Rijk Museum and... More

I have been to Amsterdam countless times in the past 20 years. I have stayed in every area of the Centrum. I stayed in hotels, I have stayed with friends, and I have used AirBnb. Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities in the world, and it is always hard to leave. This was my first visit to Park9, but... More

This is the best B&B we've stayed in, and we've stayed in a lot. Peter and Robert are great hosts and offer a wealth of knowledge and advice about their city. We stayed three nights and wished for more. The kitchen provided all you'd want for DIY breakfasts so you weren't tied to a meal time, which is great for... More

I cannot begin to tell you what a great experience we had at Parc 9. Peter and Robert were superb hosts and manage a great facility. The two bedrooms were located in the lower level. The rooms with an enclosed bath room were very spacious and well appointed. The WIFI signal was very strong - even in the outside court... More

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
