The check in went fine, all very clear and friendly, and judging by the reception area we had hopes for a nice cheap but cheerful experience. However, when we actually got to our rooms... more

When I reported it to the lady at the front desk, she seemed very calm and said that "that happens now and then at hotels like this". She said that all staff have master keys... more

Location good-near museums. Location bad-noisy pub next door. Sheets clean, good shower. Staff helpful. Tiny room, scruffy. Net curtains filthy, rubbish left under bed, cigarette ends on window sill. TV OK but no chair to watch from. Smell of smoke, receptionist smoked on entrance steps and dropped cigarette ends there. Breakfast not bad. We paid 240 Euros for three night... more

It was worst Hotel stay we have ever had! Our room was located in basement level. Small Room window was straight to busy street. It was impossible to sleep due to noise of trams and traffic. Bed was partly broken and room & toilet smelled bad. Hotel did not change our room even we complained. They though had notice in... more

The Double rooms were so small the two beds were jammed together with no room to pass round them.ie jammed together and squeezed against the wall. How this Hotel passes Dutch Health and safety laws is incredible. Room 502 in the basement is so noisy, situated with the pavement directlly above it. The noise never ceases both from lare night... more

Initialy we were confused. We had a similar experience to another person who wrote a review where we went to the address we had been given and were directed to another building nearby, right near the Heinekn Brewery. We had booked the hotel, specifying a family room which turned out to be very much hostel type accommodation with a double-decker... more

My husband and I booked to stay at this hotel for 3 nights. After booking we found some worrying reviews on this web site but decided to go with an open mind. When we arrived we walked past the hotel as it does not have the correct name outside . After noticing the number on the door we saw a... more
