Yes, the steep stairs are daunting, but Martin carried our bags up and down the steps. The room - the one at the very top - was great. Very large with a small kitchen and eating area. Just got back from a two night stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was great. Its about a 30 minute walk to the center. Privacy is a real issue with this B&B. We stayed in the unit that overlooked the canal. You have to go up 2 floors of steep steps to reach the room. Walking even in socks... more

Just stayed here for 3 nights. We had the Balcony room which faces the backs of other houses and so no views over the canal. The issue with this room is that it is on the 1st floor-up 39 steps from the front door. But the people staying on the top floor pass straight outside your bedroom. Not a problem... more
