We stayed only two nights. Good clean room and happy and helpful reception. Free 20 minute sessions on fast computers in the lobby. Close to train and tram but we would have enjoyed staying in the centre more as it was rainy and dark February time restricting getting into the city centre. The food served in the fusion restaurant was... more

This hotel definitely deserves better ranking on TA. Very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable rooms. All the conveniences you would need on a long trip, good location - a short walk to the subway station. If you are looking for a unique/boutique lux experience, then probably you would be disappointed. But if you are looking for a great deal on... more

Looking for a good quality hotel in amsterdam at a reasonable price which includes tea/coffee facilities and breakfast in the price, this is it. On the outskirts of the city centre, a 15 minute ride on the tram, the terminus is about 200 yds from the hotel. The rooms in the hotel are spacious with a high quality bed, which... more

A number 4 tram will take you into the centre. This is the cheapest way to travel and are very frequent even running through the night. The hotel is situated that bit out of the busy and thriving centre. So, much quieter and relaxing place to stay in a beautiful recently extended and refurbished hotel. The staff very smart, polite,... more

As others have said, an easy train ride from the airport, and a short walk even in the rain, is fine! I only had a short time to get to the centre to see the canals and Anne Frank's house but the number 4 tram is frequent and as you are at the terminus, a seat is easy. I bought... more

I was in Amsterdam for the weekend in middle of a business trip. Was weighing the possibilities of staying at a hotel in the city center or away. The main criteria being the ability of spend the weekend in the town center. Novotel is not in the city center but is very conveniently located with a tram service every 15... more

I would definately recommend this hotel, the breakfast was divine and tons of food and variety. The free internet on Applemac is wonderful and the rooms are large and have every convenience. Easy tram ride to city centre and attractions. more
