We had a very pleasant 2 day stay at Parkzijde B&B in May 2015.. Bernard was an excellent host! Martijne was away on a trip, so we didn't get to meet her. He served us amazing and delicious breakfasts and was most helpful in answering all our questions. The B&B is so convenient to the tram and all the major... More

Thank you for taking the time for this review and for the very nice words! Sorry that I am a bit late with this reaction as we ourselves were on a trip to Paris. We stayed in a very good B&B there and picked up ideas to improve our B&B further (always possible ofcourse). If you ever plan to return,... More

Good Value for money. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes away from the city centre and in a nice neighbourhood with nice restaurants and coffee shops. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, even lending us some raincoats as Amsterdam surprises with its cold weather and rain. Breakfast was nice and enough to keep you going during the day.... Thank you for your help to remind travelers of the climate here. Yes, rain is a part of our live in Holland. It doesn't really much rain, but it's always impredictable in all seasons. The good news is that you can avoid it by entering 1000 cafés and 75 musea in Amsterdam to spend an hour or so - and... More

We had a great stay at Parkzijde. The Garden Room was lovely, with a private conservatory for breakfast. Martijne and Bernard were very helpful with any arrangements and recommendations that we needed. The location worked well for us, a short tram ride or pleasant walk to the museums and other attractions and a quieter area for dinner and a stroll... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review! If you have several days to spend, it's a good idea to ask us about interesting and less touristic things to see or do in and around Amsterdam. There is much more than one would expect. More

We spend two nights at the Parkzijde B&B and loved every minute of it. Since we were traveling with another couple, we had both rooms rented. The lower room (our room - Parkzjide Garden) had a great breakfast area with a view of a private garden and was a nice way to start the day. Bernard and Martijne are good... More

Thank you very much for your review and th einformation in it! Indeed, there are lots of restaurants in our neighbourhood. We provide a list of the best ones (we love to check them regularly!), in all price classes and from very different countries. Our Garden room is one level lower than the Parkroom, as the rear of the house... More

We spent two nights at Parkzijde in April 2015. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Bernard and Martijne were the perfect hosts. Bernard served a wonderful Dutch breakfast in the mornings - a great way to start our days. We had easy access to the Tram - everything is just a short ride from the B&B. We look forward... More

We spent four nights at Parkzijde in April 2015. The room is cozy, but there is room for everything and it never felt crowded. Breakfast was served by Bernard in our room every morning. Plentiful and with a Dutch flair. We enjoyed the neighbourhood. The Oosterpark is under renovation, but I am sure once it is not a construction zone... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and give usefull information! Day passes for the tram (1-2-3-4 days) are indeed the best ways to quickly move through Amsterdam. And, as you mention, on foot is also easy. There are different ways to walk from our house to the central Dam square, with each its own charme as... More

We went to Amsterdam for a 5 days trip and so we were looking for a b&b to be more free and to make the most of our free time. The b&b is located in a very nice area, near Oosterpark and also the particular Tropenmuseum, that you can reach on foot. If you want to go to the heart... More

Thank you for your review! Good to read that you had a nice stay. I hope you were not too frightened at New Year’s eve, when everyone in Amsterdam is allowed to use fireworks – and they all do… I was a good choise to go and see the big fireworks in the harbour. Much more quiet! More
