I stayed for one night while working in Tilburg in November. The hotel rooms are nice, the shower and bathroom overall is very, very nice. Parking is a little tricky. You need to know to pass the hotel and turn right and go into the parking structure up to the 8th level. I was staying in Europe for 2 weeks... more

I stayed at this hotel for 1 week as part of a large group for a business course at Tilburg University. I arrived by bike and on check-in nobody objected to me taking my bike to the room. After two days, I suddenly was not allowed to take the bike up anymore. They were not friendly about it. Thankfully this... more

Whilst on business in Tilburg I prefer to stay at the Auberge du Bonheur, although I often have to stay in the Mercure. This hotel is fairly typical ot the Mercure chain and you are basically getting what you are paying for. The plus points are its central location, which is very conveniant for walking to the main bars &... more

The rooms here are adequate if uninspiring for a 4 star hotel, but there are major problems with noise and service. The evening we arrived we ate in the restaurant on the front terrace and it took over an hour for the food to arrive, and the order was changed without apology or explanation. Also no bill was presented for... more

I've been staying in this hotel for business travel for about 2 years, and I'm consistently pleased with it. I've stayed in rooms on both sides of the hotel (facing the main square or facing the side streeet), and once in the deluxe suite on the top floor that has a lounge with a dining table, and separate bedroom. The... more

I agree with the other reviewers that the hotel is well placed in the quiet but slightly dull little town of Tilburg. If you stay here, beware of three things. 1) Do not stay in room 204, it is right across from the laundry and maids closet. I asked to change rooms as the noise was quite loud after an... more

I spent one in TIlburg before going to Amsterdam for two nights. The hotel is in a brilliant location, right on the square. Tilburg is a lovely city, very layed back, chilled out and friendly. The bars, cafes and restaurants are beautiful. The hotel room was typically 3 star, clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here when in Tilburg.... more

We have stayed in the Mercure Tilburg in the summer of 2004. The hotel is a decent 3 stars hotel, with clean rooms and a decent breakfast. We arrived late at night for our check in and got the key of our room. When we opened the room, it was already occupied!!! Our actual room had a front view to... more
