Pretty big room (a bit old though) and comfortable bed. Coffee and tea available but no refrigerator/bar. Breakfast was not included so I cannot judge it. Roughly 4 km from the city centre, the bus is on the other side of the street and it takes about 10 minutes to the central station (3.50 Eur one way, Taxi ~15Eur). Big... More

I guess this hotel mainly supports the adjoining conference centre and the local high tech campus. Couple of good restaurants on site. Casino if that's your poison. Rooms were to a good spec. WiFi throughout. No English TV Channel. Wouldn't stay on the ground floor as it's the thoroughfare for the restaurant. Done the job. Bit sterile. Staff were efficient... More

There are places where you feel immediately down. This is the one... It is made of concrete which was fashionable in 70s, it is dark, smelly and with no character. Yes, it is close to motorway but I would prefer to drive a bit further and stay in something more pleasant. Unfortunately somebody had an appalling idea to set an... More

Very remote room on ground floor, hot, no aircon and couldn't leave window open for security. Also, not well cleaned - lot of sticky residue on table from spilled drink. However, large room and reasonably comfortable, just in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was very disorganised, with no logical layout, and pretty average selection. Would not be tempted to stay again.

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip recently. Quite close to the airport, very convenient if your meetings are at HTC (High Technology Campus) - about 5 minutes away (circa 20 minute walk, evidently - except my colleague and I got a bit lost so it took 45 minutes! but that was our fault!!) Hotel is OK - decent bedroom,... More

after staying in Vandervalk Haarlem this was a bit of a downer. The breakfast was more expensive and not as good as in Haarlem and the room was in the old part of the hotel, facing the busy motorway. Also the reception claimed the pool was open but it was occupied with kiddies having swimming lessons.

Stayed for one night, not a cheap hotel but the setting is amazing. Despite being right next to the motorway. The grounds are beautiful, there's a great casino and restaurants there and the rooms are lovely. The bed is honestly the most comfortable I've ever slept in.. the biggest downside is the dated bathroom, not like other van der Valks... More

The tower rooms of Van der Valk Eindhoven are comfortable and well-kept, but their brownish woodpanelling has been around for some time. We feel it's time for a restyling, aiming for a lighter, "happier" ambiance. In fact, the same applies to the public areas. It is curious that the ever-expaning Van der Valk chain aparently does not like "centralized" management.... More

We booked their 2-night weekend package which includes breakfast and dinner in their buffet restaurant. As we were travelling with 2 children aged 1 and 4 we were put in a junior suite where they had provided a rollerbed for the eldest and a baby cot for the 1yr old. Even with the extra beds there was still more than... More

After 'winning' on hotelkamerveiling.nl a room for 2, we went to Eindhoven. Suprised that we had received (trough the website?) a free upgrade, we stayed in room 1116, with airco. Friendly staff, clean room with enough space, good shower (important) and a superb breakfast in the morning. After our visit in the city center, we went to the lounge for... More
