While visiting my son in Holland we decided to spend a weekend in Breda. Just a random choice with no other significance other than spending time together. After searching countless sites for a bed and breakfast in Breda my wife found this one. The review is abit late but the hospitality and the warm welcome of the lady who runs... More

Tineke knows the biz and this is obvious from the minute you enter your suite with ready lit candles and the radio is relaxingly already set . outstanding attention to detail and very good value for money would not think of going anywhere else in Breda. access was complicated as Breda station is in the process of a major overhaul... We were here for our anniversary and booked the red room. After a warm welcome we went into the city, which is easily reachable from the B&B. Also the B&B is an easy find from the central station. The room was greately facilitated, a tv, tea and coffee machine, dvd player, a mini bar and wifi are available in the... More

Excellent! This is a classic bed and breakfast. The rtooms are in a separate apartment which means you have total privacy. Pretty room with lots of space including own bathroom etc, very comfortable bed, good breakfast (plenty of it) and very helpful and hospitable host.

We spent 2 nights there during September 2013 and absolutely loved it. Both the host and hostesses were lovely, engaging, welcoming, and friendly. They were flexible as they knew we were tired, and even called us in the morning to see if we still wanted breakfast even though the breakfast time (9am) had already passed. The hostess told us all... More

We staid in a first floor room overlooking the canal. It was a large room with separate sitting area, sauna, separate shower and bath and space to store your bags out of the way. It was a busy room but a lot of old world charm and furniture but was as is sometimes typical a bit dark at night. We did have... More

A somewhat particular place so it’s quite hard to write a proper review of this B&B. Let’s start with the good location. On a 5 minutes walking distance to the Central train station and Tourist information (VVV), opposite the Valkenberg Park and also 10 minutes walking from the heart of this lovely city (Grotemarkstraat/the big square/Church). Parking is available next... More

This is the first time I have ever been impacted enough by a hotel experience to write a review on Trip Advisor. My advice: book at this B&B at your own peril and be prepared to be tossed out on your ear at a moment's notice and for any minor trangression, even for something that is completely outside your control... My second visit to this most charming property in Breda. The Graumans family were very welcoming on arrival, help offered with luggage and personally escorted to our rooms. The rooms and modern bathroom were beautifully clean, comfortable and some lovely homely touches of lit candles, chocolates and classical music playing. The breakfast was served downstairs in a beautifully decorated dining room... More

REMEMBER, this is not a hotel but a bed-and-breakfast. As such it is cosy but very expensive. It does not afford you the independence and privacy of a hotel because it is in someone's home. The stairs to your room are a mountaineer's nightmare. Getting your cases up is a real challenge. As such it is a serious safety hazard.... More
