We had a suite: separate sitting room, separate bedroom. Nice furniture: a sofa, dining table. Two televisions. Excellent shower. In room 22, the first suite, the bathroom is suitable for use with a wheelchair and/or shopping trolley. At present the suites are the only rooms that are accessible for disabled people but the hotel is in a rebuilding process where... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Maashof. We where a group of people visiting some nearby businesses, and arrived pretty late in the evening. The restaurant was kept open for us with great food and local beer. Rooms where perfect. Breakfast excellent. Service excellent. Value vs price was great!

A lovely modern hotel just outside Venlo and perfectly positioned for my business trip from the UK to Germany. I stayed on both the outward and return legs of my trip, arriving late in the evening on both occasions. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and there was a good choice at breakfast.... More

Just about finished hotel with good bedrooms and excellent dining, overlooking a fishing lake. Parking on site. Staff attentive and prompt. Breakfast ok, no more. No code good WiFi everywhere that I was. Walks and activities nearby.

When we arrived the car park was a little confusing as we saw no sign and large cranes were in evidence where some extension was taking place. The car park was gravelled which made wheeling the cases quite difficult. However, the hotel was modern and the rooms were large and very comfortable. There were bikes for hire and Sedgeways and... Dear Gerjealin, Thank you very much for your review. At this moment we are busy renewing our parking place. The gravel has already been removed and we hope to finish this project by the end of next week. After this, our guests can walk more comfortable to the entrance of the hotel and the parking place is more visible from... More

We stayed for one night and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are surprisingly large and feel brand new. The restaurant overlooks the lake, the food was good but the service a little slow. Free wifi, free parking and breakfast included means there are no extra costs. Venlo itself is well worth a visit.

Very friendly yet efficient hotel. Privately owned and really well run. Very nice rooms, good internet (free), good breakfast, good hotel restaurant and a nice bar. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the Venlo area (or visiting a tradefair in Dusseldorf as is the case today). Great value at €82 per person per night.

We stayed here for one night on our way to southern Germany. We arrived quite late and enjoyed a lovely dinner which was served promptly and efficiently. The room was very comfortable and had all amenities. The next morning we were delighted by the views of the lakes while we enjoyed our breakfast. All this at a very reasonable price.

This is a Trout Fishing club about 1 mile from the motorway & right next to an industrial warehouse- not in the middle of countryside. On the night of our stay there was a party on the verandah right above our room which went on until 3 o'clock in the morning!! Finally managed about 4 hours sleep before the fishermen... More
