The hotel is located on the markt square with an annexe in one of the side streets. Staff are friendly and breakfast is largely standard European fayre. Rooms in the annexe are clean but not air-conditioned. Bike storage is available at sister hotel. Wifi in rooms could be better but is excellent in the bar area.

This is a well-run hotel in a lovely location, right on the market square in this historic town. Parking is easy nearby in a public car park. We were in the annexe, which was nice and quiet at night, in spite of all the music in the market square. The room was clean and comfortable but on the dark side... More

Over a span of thirty years , I have stayed many times at De Limbourg , in early years on business , later for pleasure . This hotel scores well on location , good rooms , good food and pleasant staff . Make sure it is high on your shortlist !

If you are new to the country you probably observed some stereotypes about life in The Netherlands such as cold weather, even cold people which are not correct! It'd be a better start to stay in Hotel de Limbourg, warm personel ensure what you need and comfortable beds(fairtrade certified cottons), great location(just in the squre-Markt Sittard) are remained in my mind.

I would say that this is more a restaurant than a hotel! The rooms are very small and no view at all. However, bathroom was quite good and clean. Personnel is very friendly and willing to assist you. Breakfast was quite acceptable without many choices, but fresh and well prepared stuff!

South Limburg is that low-hanging southern panhandle, nearly disconnected from the rest of the Netherlands. In many ways, the region is a different type of country, kind of unlike the Netherland’s “Holland” up north. For one, geography - South Limburg is hill country, compared to flatland most anywhere north of it. For another, there's demography. Many in South Limburg are... More

My wife and i stayed in this very cozy 'historic' hotel in Sittard Holland, and absolutely loved it. The only downfall was the narrow stairs to our 2nd floor room (on third floor if you are from US). We actually were in the hotel 'annex', but our room was gorgeous, very, very clean and quiet. Our bed was comfy, the... More

The hotel is located in the town's main square and is surrounded by wonderful pubs and restaurants - some of which have live music, plenty of entertainment options and a variety of food options. The main attraction is indeed the hotel's own restaurant with fine cuisine and a very pleasant outdoor terrace facing the square (smokers friendly). The historic surroundings... More

Most towns have hotels with a long history and a mixture of charms and quirks and this is no exception. If you want a standardised "modern" hotel, look in the outskirts, not the market place. This hotel is right in the heart of Sittard, picturesque, cultural, colourful and at times noisy. Its restaurant is excellent and does interesting local food... More

This hotel is located ON the central market square of the city (Sittard), which is populated by great restaurants and (greater) bars and pubs. So, expect some noise from the street until closing time, especially during the summer months. This is not a modern hotel with elevators, busboys, and valets. You haul your gear up to your room yourself, and... More
