Nothing in this hotel is luxurious, nor fancy. Very straight-forward bed and breakfast, nice pub at night. Rooms are very old and floor is cranky, household is minimal but comfortable overall. The neighborhood is practically dead, as said - good only as an overnight stop, nothing more.

This 4* hotel was booked for a family trip. As the Golden Tulip Cox hotel it was excellent and highly recommended. Unfortunately since adoption by Fletcher, the standards have slipped massively. The staff were inattentive, our initial room was cold damp, water pouring in past closed window and had no functioning shower. When moved to two new rooms, one had... More

As a countryside hotel, it has probably seen better days. The rooms are clean, but somewhat worn down. With the gas station and the motorway very close, the location is surprisingly quiet. For those who love walking or bicycling in the woods it is perfect. As it is practically on the border, you can even choose between Holland and Germany!... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and found it to be comfy and clean. You would need a car to stay here as there is nothing close enough to walk to. We were a bit worried when we arrived as it's next to a gas station but there was no noise during our stay. The room was a... More

This hotel has apparently been taken over by Fletcher not too long ago. It certainly can do with some upgrading if it wants to earn/keep the 4 stars. The wife and I stayed there on a very hot day, but the rooms have no airco. The minibar is about to be removed, and thus already empty. Beds and bathroom ok,... More

I have stayed at this Hotel many times over the past 10 years but sadly since the change of ownership about 2 years ago from Landcox Hotel to Fletcher there has been a dramatic change of style - or now lack of it and the little things that make a hotel a great one have gone. Now it seems to... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the family room. Location of the Hotel is next to the motorway so windows in the room had to be closed throughout the night. Reception staff were very friendly. Family room was located at the very top of the hotel up a very steep set of stairs. Room was clean although ceiling in the bathroom... More

We have stayed here many times over the years. This hotel was better when in the Golden Tulip chain. Then we had a better breakfast, with a hot pot of coffee on the table and tea cofee making facilities in the room! Still satisfactory but a bit disappointing when compared to the past. Nevertheless mostly friendly and helpful reception staff.... More
