Historic home, beautifully renovated with the perfect combination of modern and historic touches, comfortable beds, quiet/good location just off busy areas....could not have been a better three-night stay. I love that the previous owner of the house is honored in framed photos and text -- the artist Paul Daenen. As if that weren't enough, you are in one of the... More

Good location along the river; althoug couple of coffeeshops are just around the corner and it is not hard to come across some drug dealer, it's a safe place, just few minutes walking from the cty centre. Staff not so friendly during the check-in. Beautiful room with nice soft big beds. We booked really last minute and the whole city... More

Well.....at first this hotel looks good. Nice location at the river, very close to city centre, restored old buildings, nice old touch in decoration. Flatscreen, airco....Nice prices as well. Even reception was ok. But then the other side: we stayed for 3 nights and you would expect the room to be cleaned at least once but no...the only housekeeping activity... More

We stayed at the hotel during our city trip. The hotel has a great location, very near the city centre and everything is within walking distance. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom is just nice; has everything you need. The breakfast is very nice, a little bit expensive but everything is freshly baked for you... More

This hotel is located in downtown and facing the river. It is comprised of a few smaller independent houses. The one we stayed in was still undergoing renovation in some areas. Our room had air conditioning and provided beds for four. The main bed was comprised of two separate beds that were pushed together. Two trundles could be pulled out... More

The hotel is compromised of four independent houses stitched together as one. The rooms are styled in a classic, late 19th century style. The bathrooms are neat and modern. Free Wi-Fi available. Staff is friendly, and a good location adjacent to the city centre. Big disappointment: amazed how thin the walls are. For the two consecutive nights we stayed, some... More

We found the Bigarre really easily and were able to park overnight really cheaply about five minutes away - not always the case in European cities! From the street the Bigarre looks terrific, old, loads of character. Inside, that continues. The slightly reserved but welcoming reception staff had a bottle of red wine to greet us with! - and our... More

After a nice week stay in one of their apartments, we came back to Maastricht for one night. We decided to try the hotel, expecting the same quality. WE WERE WRONG. Not only was the room not air conditioned - and not big enough for the bathroom door to open without hitting the bed - we were on the back... More

Apartment 79D Boschstraat. Definately Not Luxury City Apartments more like student accomodation. No hot water entire stay and not very clean overall. Dirty Dishes, dirty towels and bin had not been emptied for arrival. Bedding had not been pressed, it was all crushed not to sure if it was fresh. Dish washer not working. Description of accomodation far from reality.... More
