There were several disappointing aspects to my stay. 1. The rooms are in desperate need of updating and scrubbing. Furniture is old and mismatched. 2. When I mentioned to the front desk employee that I was unable to pick up a wireless signal in my room, she suggested that I could come down to the lobby when I needed to... More

Very charming building and rooms. Exellent location. Nice beds. We stayed in the attic room with a lovely high ceiling, though you shouldn't be afraid of climbing several flights of stairs.

The entrance, common parts and location of this hotel are nice. The room was however below standard. It was badly cleaned (if cleaned at all) with very cold curtains, an uncomfortable bed and a very dated bathroom. The service was not customer-focused. I was happy to leave.

This is an old and charming hotel right in the middle of the old town. Our room (10) was large with lovely period furniture and very comfortable beds. Small shower room was absolutely fine. I didn't see a lift so be prepared to carry cases up stairs. Its very quiet but due to the cobbled stones on the narrow road... More

Was here for the third time in about six years. It's still a very cute and charming hotel, just four minutes away from the very center of Maastricht but very quiet in a cobblestone street. Breakfast room also very pleasant, wireless Internet for free, what do you want more? Maybe within some years it's time do a little bitbof renovation... More

This well kept, old building is a few steps away from the happening city centre. Staff is very friendly. The room was not large, but sufficient. The bathtub was beautiful! Breakfast is basic. Parking is 100 meters from hotel, make a reservation for this, they have limited parkingspace! Be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs, there is no... More

We stayed at the hotel overnight with my parents and our two children. The hotel is located in a very charming, cobblestone street near the Vrijthof. The location is wonderful as the main sights are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is quite lovely - from the entrance, breakfast room and sitting room. The staff were wonderful, very welcoming... More

Stayed in hotel Les Charmes. Location and first floor look great. Service is ok. We stayed in room 8, the suite. Very dissapointing! The carpet and curtains had lots of stains! Not a "charming room". We expected a victorian decorated room. This was not the case. Cold and 'averidge' room. Too expensive. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

I stayed at the Hotel Les Charmes for 2 nights last week with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. We had the two rooms on the top floor (4th), which felt very private. If you insist upon upscale, polished, and the latest in convenience/style . . . Les Charmes is not for you. If you prefer local charm/quaintness and can... More
