This hotel is situated in a historic building at the mere heart of Maastricht at the most famous square of town. The rooms are spacious, the service is excellent, a good valet parking system and very helpfull and friendly staff. We didnot have breakfast here, so we cannot review on that issue. Highly recommended.

We (one Dutch and two Americans) visited Maastricht for a conference in June and chose to stay at Haas op het Vrijthof in the suite. It was a flawless, excellent stay. We loved everything about it. The rooms are very stylish, tasteful, clean, spaceous, modern, with a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds and bathrooms. The location is excellent and... More

We stayed with two couples in Haas op het Vrijthof which is a lovely guesthouse. The rooms are spacious and clean, very modern and beautiful. The location is just great. It was may be a little on the expensive side, but that is Maastricht for you. The breakfast is with 15 € extra a little expensive, so we went to... More

Haas op het Vrijthof is right on the main square. It is an old building but the rooms are brand new. Everything in our room was updated and looked like a new building. There was a spacious desk, a flat screen TV and coffee/tea in the room. Our room was in the back of the building. We had a French... More

This is the 4th time I have stayed in Maastricht in the last few years, and the Haas op het Vrijthof is by far the best hotel. It is right on the main square (Vrijthof) where the Andre Rieu concerts are filmed, and which has an abundance of restaurants and cafes. It is right in the centre of the old... More

Nice, stylish, new, and clean boutique hotel right in the centre of the action – on Vritjhof Square. There was therefore an abundance of cafes and restaurants to choose from, self-catering options very close by, and most of the shops were around. It was quite a good walk to the train station though. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.... More

Big nice clean room and very friendly staff. Fantastic location, even though a bit far away from train station. Kitchenette room was disappointing as it was a shared kitchen OUTSIDE of the room. Not as advertised.

Right on the Vrijthof square but quiet and peaceful. A small inn with only a few rooms or suites, we had the superior suite with living room overlooking the square and bedroom facing rear patios. All elegant and perfect! Nice breakfast and wonderful, friendly, helpful service by our hostesses, Meep and Katerina. Made our stay a pleasure, even with drippy... More

What a pleasure. Everything perfect! couldn`t be better situated on the Vrijthof. Everything is nearby. Restaurants in abundance (we tried several, that is for other reviews) Our room (mini suite) was immaculate with wonderful views. Breakfast (served in the room) was perfect and included freshly squeezed orange juice in a large jug! not just a glass. Beds were very comfortable.... More

I came in by train and just asked for directions to Vrijthof square. It was a straight shot and walkable but with luggage I would recommend a taxi. The Haas is right on the normally quiet square but a carnival/fair was in town when we were there so the area was anything but quiet. Regardless, our stay was still enjoyable.... More
