Had a very enjoyable evening in the town of Maastricht and indeed in this hotel. Its a beautiful hotel, with a very vintage old feel which a lot of newer hotels are missing in my opinion. Check in is very personal, with no 'front desk' so to speak, its all done in the corridor next to the hotel office. The... More

We arrived on a very hot day in July 2015. We took a taxi from the station. The route was somewhat roundabout but was affected by the river crossing and the one way streets. It would be possible to walk from the station to the hotel but taxi is a better option when you have luggage. The hotel was very... More

An amazing hotel in the center of Maastricht, very cosy, or "gezellig". The rooms are very well decorated, with a nice bath tub, a coffee machine and a very nice inside court! Lovely also the restaurant, with amazing paintings :) i recommend it! Only thing is that the breakfast is expensive, but worth a lunch, so spend a bit of... More

Pros: near the city center for a reasonable price. If you're not afraid to walk, you can easily reach it from the central station (18 min by foot). There is a Nespresso machine inside the room and the capsules are there as a courtesy. Cons: the hotel is a bit pretentious... I mean, it pretends to be fancier than it... More

If you prefer a Hilton or Marriott style of hotel, this isn't it! It's nestled in a row of buildings near the Maastricht Market Square. Apparently, it was owned by a rich merchant then housed Allied soldiers during WWII - told by the server during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely fantastic. Not expected one bit, but my wife... More

Basic lodgings, clean bedroom and bathroom, with an Nespresso machine and a fridge with free soft drinks. Blackout blinds at windows and air con or an option to open windows. All necessities covered, it just felt a bit like a hostel, open front door and no staff to be found, might have been better to leave the door closed and... More

Booked this Hotel because of good reviews on Trip adviser. Was very nice and pretty reasonable. We were on the 4th Floor of a very old house turned into a hotel. The house was once owned by the founder of the Sphinx Porcelain works and was very old. The breakfasts were great and cooked to order. We also ate dinner... More

My partner and I wanted to check into the hotel on Friday afternoon, but we were told to wait by someone who didn't seem to know much save how to explain the room passes. After a twenty minute wait (in which no one bothered to offer us some coffee or anything) we were finally shown to our room. After this... More

We have just returned from staying 6 days at this four star classified Hotel. Before making the initial booking some ten months ago I took the recommendation of a reputable Uk travel agent and of course looked on trip advisor. The reviews were outstanding and the photographs portrayed a wonderful elegant classic building. In light of this I looked forward... More

I don't understand why people are raving about this entity. It is not bad at all, but don't think there is anything to write home about either. Location is perfect if you want easy access to town center, although it is a bit of a walk from the train station (don't get me wrong it is very walkable). Room is... More
