The hotel's staff, room, and setting were beautiful. We highly recommend the hotel. The morning breakfast was one of the best on our trip through Holland. more

Only complaint is we were given two twin beds pushed together, when we had specifically asked for a large queen (double). more

The Botticelli is a nice small `boutique` hotel in the heart of Maastricht, with an italian theme (as implicated by its name). The rooms vary in size but are quite comfortable. Try to avoid the rooms facing the street, as they are noisier. The hotel serves a great breakfast - in summer also in the courtyard. There is no dinner... more

I stayed at the Boticelli for 1 night in summer 2008. The hotel is in an excellent position, and its public areas as well as the courtyard are exceptionally pretty. Our room was spacious, the bathroom, spacious as well, decently equiped, and clean. While the walls and furniture looked a little worn, this could be put down to shabby chic... more

We are just back from the Botticelli and had a disappointing stay there . The hotel has several strong points though : - good location, just behind the Vrijthof - beautiful settings, with a lovely courtyard - friendly staff - very good breakfast (although 16.50 euros is too pricey for a non-cooked breakfast in my opinion) So we should have... more

I know the city of Masstricht very good because I have a couple of friends their. This time I couldn't stay with them and and had to choose a hotel. I chose the Botticellie because of its good and central location in the old inner city, but din't know it at all. And usually I don't choose ***-hotels. But Botticelli... more

We absolutely love this hotel. I was in Maastricht for a conference and took my wife and 6-month-old daughter with me there during the July heat wave. Ever since we arrived at the door, we loved it: the place and the hosts. We needed to have a place to change diapers and asked if we could check in earlier (by... more

We stayed at the Hotel Botticelli during a conference in Maastricht in July. I was so glad we stayed here rather than the non-descript conference hotel connected to the conference center. Several reasons for this: 1) the place has alot of character, with an absolutely beautiful courtyard and garden, (the street-front entrance is rather non-descript), 2) the staff was very... more

I stayed at the Hotel Botticelli after reading reviews of it both here and on another user-reviewed website. We had a lovely stay, and found the hotel and location to be quiet and well-situated. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, and air-conditioning was welcome, as it was very warm in Maastricht, and we were in a room on the... more

My husband and I were in Maastricht this past January and stayed at the Hotel Botticelli. Our stay was by no means bad, but it wasn't all that special either. From the description given as well as the price, we were expecting something a bit more upscale. The only thing of note was the incredibly rude entourage of cleaning people.... more
