We selected this hotel because of the air conditioning, which worked well while it was 29 Celsius outside. The design is funky but functional. The location is on the edge of the city, near the football (soccer) stadium. There are two parkings, one paid and monitored, the other free and unmonitored. We opted for the paid parking (15 Euro per night,... more

Nowadays the Apple Park Hotel in Maastricht is an Golden Tulip, before it became that, it was just the Apple Park Hotel. It is situated near the A2 highway, but is not so close to the city centre of Maastricht. You can take the bus, or your car to the centre as a walk would take to much time. There... more

Stayed one night here as a base to sightsee in the Maastricht area. Finding the hotel on arrival into Maastricht by car could not be easier, it's immediately at the end of the highway, next to the football stadium. We didn't walk into the centre but were told by reception it would take 30 minutes. We used the hotel's free... more

We've stayed one single night, but, by mistake, they charged twice our credit card. Since 12/08/07 i cannot getthe over payment credited back on my credit card, despite numerous promises. I've written a letter, with all details, phoned many times. The manager is deaf to the problem ! YOU MUST AVOID THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU PAY CASH AND CHECK YOUR... more

I just got back from an early September stay in Maastricht for a business conference at the MECC. While the Golden Tulip is not as close to the MECC as I would have liked, it is still a decent hotel. It is very contemporary and the rooms are large relative to other European standards. It is a short 5-10 minute... more

This hotel has been around now for quite sometime and when it was opened it surely must have been a hotel with a certain falir of design. Now, after 5 years or so, it still looks very nice and clean and still has a very distinct styling, but the proper design hotels have moved on. Still, this is a good... more

Clean reasonable hotel...badly situated for the town of Maastricht if you wish to sightsee...but for business who cares! breakfast and restaurant food is OK...my only gripe being the internet connection that was faulty...but which they failed to rectify...and still billed me for!! more

We stayed here in October of 2006. The weather was warm and the air conditioning was not very good. There were a few english language channels on the television. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were no ironing boards in the room, but you could ask and they would provide the iron and board. The rooms were sorta... more

I booked this hotel through a dutch internetsite which gave me a great promotion. the desk personel was very friendly and helpful. When we first arrived in our room we saw that the heating didn't work properly and told the girl at the front desk. She immediately came to the room to check and went out of her way to... more

Stayed here for work reasons. Room decor was very modern - galvanized iron, black/grey striped linens, etc. Bathroom was larger than average, basic toiletries provided, normal hairdryer (always a plus) and desk space. Food was plentiful and good. Has a basic gym encased in glass and a snooker room. Good business hotel but a bit out of the way. Not... more
