Stayed there with my wife and our two small children to visit friends in the neighbourhood, we did not regret. Good things: good unobtrusive service, polite and to the point, cannot be improved much. Nice large room (apartment suite) well suited for small children. My wife enjoyed the spa very much, which included a massage but also has a swimming... more

The grounds are amazing, rooms are ok in my opinion - abit dated and dark. The great thing though is they cater for families with babies. There was a changing mat, bin for the diapers and a present for our son on arrival. The restaurant was extremely busy, would not recommend eating there. The portions were rationed for both food... more

Me and my family stayed at Château St. Gerlach as a birthday present for my mother. We stayed in one of the family appartments which was overlooking the garden. It was a lovely spacious appartment with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. I mentioned to the restaurant staff that it was my mother's birthday and they were so attentive. They... more

I stayed at the Chateau St. Gerlach 2 nights for a conference. The property is in a huge park with amazing garden features and a collection of statues - it's also very close to Maastricht. The woods around the property are amazing. There's a main building with reception and bar, a restaurant building, a church, a number of lower buildings... more

Stayed here in the resenditial suite, which is beautiful! Very romantic spaceous room and mostly friendly staff. (The restaurant staff didn't want us drinking coffee there after an evening walk, which gave us a very unwelcome feeling, but I guess that stuff happens when you're not in a suit at such a place, still though, we had the best room...... more

When I checked tripadvisor I didn't find many comments on this place, hence my decision to add my experience, hopefully it will be helpful. My husband and I just got back from a few days stay at the Chateau St Gerlach a few km away from Maastricht. I had booked a junior suite for my husband's birthday and we got... more

My husband and I stayed for one night in this beautiful hotel in the Valkenburg area. Chateau St. Gerlach is a very nice and unique hotel, in a beautiful park and close to Valkenburg and Maastricht for activities. Dinner was nice, not very special but also not wrong. Most disappointing during our stay was the noise and lack of ventilation.... more

We have booked the Hotel including the dinners in the restaurant. We stayed in a beautiful suite. Everything you see, drink or eat is perfect. Very friendly staff, nice ambiance. On Saterday shopping in Maastricht, relaxing in the spa and a nice dinner to end the day. Highly recommended! more

This is a great hotel to just relax. We stayed two nights in a senior suite (one level), which is perfect for two adults and two children (3 and 5). Surroundings are beautiful, as is the hotel itself. We ate in the Bistrot one night and in the Restaurant the night after. Both great. One minor comment: we ordered room-service,... more
