We booked this hotel for ourselves and daughter but were disappointed that the peaceful country setting on the photos didn't portray the main road on the outskirts of the more unkempt side of the city. There was no air con but the windows remained closed as the traffic noise was constant. However the biggest failing of this hotel was the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of July and chose it because of the location as we had booked tickets for an Andre Rieu concert. We were NOT disappointed. The hotel is extremely clean, comfortable and all staff very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, the food is fresh and the service friendly and professional. We loved... More

We stayed here for two consecutive nights. The hotel is conveniently situated a short drive from the town centre. There was plenty of free parking on site, plus garage parking at a relatively small additional cost. The communal areas in the hotel are clean and attractively decorated. Our room, which was at the back of the hotel, was quiet and... More

Traveling with a car, it's difficult to find reasonably priced hotels with garages in Maastricht. Had we been traveling via train, we would have found something more central. However, after staying here for two nights, it worked out fine. They have plenty of parking and they are just on the edge of town. It was easy to hop on a... More

A one night stay on a tour of Europe. Very welcoming and friendly staff; excellent evening meal quick served; wide choice for breakfast; free parking. Where I have marked down is that the room and the stairs/corridors are very bland, with just the odd Van Gogh print here and there. The room was just a plain white with blue carpet... More

We stayed 3 nights at In Den Hoof to take in an Andre Rieu concert in the Vrijthof. We chose this hotel primarily for the on-site car-parking which is not generally available 'down-town'. The hotel is a mid-range hotel with good rooms, an excellent restaurant, sun-terrace and garden. The hotel is approx 3kms east of Maastricht centre and on a... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was chosen by us because of a family visit and it was near the place where our family in Maastricht is living. The alternative was a hotel in the centre of Maastricht but with these hotels except for the high prices, parking is normally a problem. In the In den Hoof... More

Visiting Maastricht university we stayed here for 2 nights, eating dinner at the hotel on the Saturday night. It's got a lovely atmosphere, real fire blazing away, informal bar area and quite posh restaurant with local dishes (quite gamey, i.e. rabbit etc.) beautifully prepared. We were in Room 3, a corner room on the first floor with twin beds and... More

We stayed there for 3 nights, with 5 other friends. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and at the back of the hotel. On the last night we had a meal in the hotel. Despite 5 of us eating vegetarian the chef put on an excellent selection of dishes. It is not often... More
