In the hart former coal mining area is this oasis. Great service and accommodation. Take your lover to this lovely castle and you will enjoy piece of mind for many days. Near many cities as Aachen and Maastricht and Liege. Great value.

What an absolute perfect place to spend a few days away. Location, surroundings, rooms, amenities, staff and outstanding restaurant could not be faulted. We felt so well looked after in this delightful luxury retreat, we wished we could have stayed much longer. We will be back in the summer for another treat. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A 15th Century castle with moat, orange garden isn't the most common place to stay ... We were here for 2 nights. The staff were helpful, the room huge with a corridor to a bathroom with an enormous bath, shower etc. nice touches such as a decent capsule coffee machine, a minibar with a good choice of drinks and some... Calm and relaxing. Just what I needed. Great secluded location and architecture. Very different. Plenty of parking. Large comfortable room. Bar in the basement worth a visit. Breakfast was plenty. Staff were helpful and unimposing. Hope to return.

The hotel has a nice location. We stayed at the Poortwachtersuite, which is very spatious and a nice atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. We were a litlle disapointed with the size of the bath. The staff should check the TV settings, as it took us half an hour to find out how the TV on the second floor works... More

The hotel was a nice surprise after a short drive through the woods to reach the place. The hotel gives a nice ambiance of the middle ages, surrounded by water and a courtyard. Bikes and scooters are for rental, plenty of parking for cars. The room (#36) was spacious and comfortable bed. If you want quietness during your sleep, this... More

The hotel is located in a quiet area with walking/biking paths. Our room was quite large and pleasant with a large bed and sofa bed (not very comfortable). The shower/tub were decent, though the edges around the tub could have been cleaner. We were automatically charged for breakfast even though we did not eat it; this was cleared up after... More

I booked the hotel because it was close to where we needed to be and a reasonable place. The hotel is hidden down the end of a tree lined road so is very quiet. The rooms are spread out around a courtyard and again are quiet. Everything you could need is in the room or available at the hotel reception.... More

Beautiful gardens and the rooms are OK. The shower is not very good as the water goes out easily. The amenities are OK, but not bath towel. The servi bar with expensive items but you can put your stuff in. No air condition though. Only 18 kms straight to Aachen, so convenient if you attend the CHIO.

Kasteel Terworm is set on beautiful property. However, buffering the property is an industrial area which you have to go through in order to enter property. Once on the grounds, it is very pleasant. What is most enjoyable are the extensive bike paths surrounding the area. The rooms are clean but dated. Dinner at the Kasteel was delicious but expensive.... More
