it is located among many apartment buildings but a very pretty area-lots of trees. A good parking lot. the rooms were typical european. Be sure and bring soap as only liquid soap is offered and no washcloths. The restaurant was very charming. It was a walk to any stores.

Well located with its own car park, albeit €8 per day. I can't understand why the owners haven't refurbished the place. The lobby is a curious mix of 1960s concrete, chandeliers, copper fireplace and odd furniture. The rooms are comfortable but very dated. On the food side they give you access to a laundry on the sixth floor. Very close... More

The hotel is very well situated for the town and the great range of restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful with all of the usual cheeses, meats, cereals and pastries. I found the lighting in the rooms awkward and the decor was very much dated. A little modernisation would be good for the hotel as it is stuck in a bit of... More

Avoid. I have never seen such flat quilts and rooms very dated. Location is good and staff very friendly but I personally wouldn't go back. Garden need weeding generally very tired could do with facelift.

Convenient location for the centre of Heerlen and the staff were friendly and efficient. Public areas are fine but the rooms are like taking a trip back 20 years. Old, tired and showing wear. Electric socket hanging off fixing, carpets worn, walls marked and a large antiquated TV. Free WiFi is good news but having to pay for very cramped... More

We stayed here 2 years in a row during the ' Limburg's Moosite' cycling event. It is a good hotel with a great breakfast buffet. From the outside it is pretty plain, but on the inside it is well done. The location is great because it is just out of the noise of the city centre, but still on easy... More

The people make this hotel 4, maybe 5 star. The rooms are average, the food ok. The bar is a hotel bar. But the staff are some of the best I have ever encountered. Put some new decor in the rooms (not the lobby or bar, don't ever touch those) and make it where you don't have to ask for... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights in March on business. Overall the hotel was good I graded it very good because the price I paid was very competitive. The rooms were clean if a bit spartan and very 1980's , The breakfast choice was very good and it is conveniently located. Overall good for the business traveller

I would probably take the Grand out of the name unless you step back in time 25 years, as this hotel is trapped in the year 1988. Although old and in need of lift, the price was right, the staff excellent and the beds were very comfortable.

We booked this hotel via ''weekendjeweg.be'' to stay for 2 nights inclusive of breakfast. We emailed that we would be arriving late and that was no problem. Reception at 22:10 was nice and quick. Had to pay 50 Euro warranty. We were given a room at the thrid floor. When we entered the room We were struck by the atmosphere... More
