The Hampshire City hotel is conveniently located in the center of Groningen, minutes away from wonderful restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and the real highlight is the possibility to use the in-house spa and sauna facilities. The rooms might be due for a tasteful update but it was nothing too horrible.

Nice clean hotel, modern and very friendly staff. During easter it was fully booked and I saw a lot of couples having a great time. They rented bikes from the hotel and enjoyed their free champagne with breakfast. Unfortunately I was there on business and missed wifi in my room. (they are installing it right now).

This hotel is situated between the city centr and the railway station. It offer quiet rooms, with in-room coffee-making (Senseo) for a modest price. Breakfast is a bit meagre for the 15 Euro. Nice entrance and efficient reception desk complement is as a good business hotel.

Friendly personnel, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. It’s near bus stops and at 30 minutes walking distance from city center. Surrounded by a park, it’s very easy to reach the nearest bus to go back to Eelde airport.

This is a decent enough hotel and not bad value for money. The location is ideal, a 10 miniute walk from the station. The rooms are clean but a bit tired. The Hampshire city hotel is a nice value for location and service. It's approximately a six euro cab ride from the train station, or a 10-15 minutes walk.
