Good room, standard fare at this level. No fridge or mini-bar, which was a minor nuisance. However the proximity to the town square and great restaurants and cafes makes it pretty redundant anyway, and there is a supermarket in the ground floor of the medical centre opposite. The hotel is located in front of the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), 5 minutes walk from the city centre, and about a 15 minute walk from the railway station. The NH Hotel is opposite the medical centre, where you can park your car in the garage. Staff is okay, a bit reserved, nice rooms with shower. The breakfast is really good. In 5 minutes you walk to the city center. Ask for a room on the city-side; the other side can be noisy because of the ambulances. A pity... More

A business Hotel with a nice, Dutch Breakfast, friendly service and appropriate rooms. Located Vis-à-Vis the University Medical Centre Groningen, the city of Groningen is reachable in a 3-5 minutes walk. To visit the city is really recommended.
