Good location, nice old-style interior. However sometimes missing 'the touch'. Beware of the difference in rooms. Room 1 to 12 are in the reception area, and in particular room 4 (bruidal suite) is gorgeous with high ceilings, chandeliers and a 2x2m jacuzzi. This hotel is right in the center of Groningen and therefore very close to all the highlights of this nice city. I chose the cheapest room and it was quite small but clean and nice. The hotel is very central to everything and it's quite charming. The building is very old and the lobby area is very comfortable. The breakfast room was at the back of a bakery, so you got all the fresh bread that the baker was making right then, in addition to omelets, fruits, cheese, and the other typical European breakfast items....
