We stayed 3 nights here to attend an 80th birthday party of a Haren resident. The room was basic but clean. Being so close to a busy road means you have to sleep with windows closed and there is no air con. Staff at reception were helpful and we used the nearby Park & Ride bus to get into Groningen... more
I stay here regularly for business, rooms are simple and not air conditioned, they use still blankets and sheets in stead of feather beds. Maintenance seems o.k., but the hotel is a bit outdated. However, can still be good value for money. Reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and professional and always respond on remarks and questions. What lacks... more
Basic hotel with decent rooms. Taxi to Groningen sets you back about 20 euros (train from nearby Haren is cheaper). The delightuful thing with the hotel was the staff. Extremely helpful and patient. Well worth a stay just for the service. more
