4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

I stayed here a couple of year's ago and was disappointed. My normal hotel in Nijmegen was fully booked so I had to stay. I'm so glad! What a transformation. From old fashioned to contemporary. Good rooms, food and bar. Really friendly and helpful bar staff. Well equipped for business travel. Plenty of places to work near the bar. Right... More

I spent here only one night. I moved afterwards in a B&B which I found nicer and much cheaper. It was of course clean.. but too hot over night. The breakfast not included in the price too expensive, but good. Fur sure convenient if you need to be close to the train station.

I picked this hotel because of price, location and access to public transit (bus to Radboud University Medical Centre). Very happy with my choice. I arrived around 9pm after a train ride from AMS. The hotel is right next to the train station. I ate in the restaurant (an ok salad, although I don't think they gave me the one... More

Hotel is fine...it's what you should expect for cost etc, with no drawbacks. Staff obliging and efficient, rooms very clean if a tad small, a fridge for your own mini bar...a small shop at reception to stock your mini bar at street prices....so that was nice as mini bars can be a rip off...breakfast was terrific....hot ant buffet style....dinner was... This hotel is right beside the train station, and about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the ciry centre. We found it to be very comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet gave a good choice, and seemed regularly replenished. We were perfectly happy with this choice of hotel for a weekend leisure break. Although... More

I love the Mercure brand of hotels. First time I experienced Mercure was at Paris, Montmartre location. And this branch at Nijmegen, Amsterdam did not disappoint. The hotel is a few steps from the Nijmegen train station, and if you're carrying heavy luggage, you don't need to take a cab since it's a short three minute walk to the reception... More

Dear sevenofnine, Thank you for your review. We are happy to read you enjoyed our location and staff so much. We are sorry to hear that you were dissappointed about the breakfast, although it is an extensive buffet, offering a large variety of bread(rolls), meat, cheeses, dairy, fruits, juices (including freshly squeezed orange juice), boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, chipolata,... I stayed at this hotel, November 2013. The first appearance is sparse. However, there is a lot here, just compact. The breakfast was good. I like the little bar and the bartender was great! Expeditious service, snappy and on the spot. Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was the cold room, like 60 or something but I think this... More

Dear SteveCouv, Thank you very much for your review. We are happy to read you had a pleasant stay with us. You point out exactly what we aim for: delivering a good service and a nice, comfortable stay for our guests, trying to make them feel 'home-away-from-home'. Just a small replenishment about the bikes: in case we do not have... More
