The place is a little run down in very serious and urgent need of renovation. Staff did what they could, but can't possibly make this value for money. Location is good from where you can explore the lovely city and surroundings. more

i would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Would you believe this? we were on our honeymoon and the double bed was nothing but 2 single beds put side by side!!!! when we complained about this, we were given another room when it became available... but guess what? this bed had 2 single mattresses and a wooden plate in... more

I stayed in this hotel due to business trip. However the rooms could not be booked over company. So I booked over hotels.com. By chance I met a colleague, and asked him about the price. He was paying the company rate, and me 120 Euro, hence my first disappointment. Other disappointments are already written by others, just to add: a... more

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of April 2007. The room was huge (a suite), even by American standards. Extremely strange lay out though with lots of dead space. The bathroom was clean, but had tired decor that must be at least 25 years old. Shower head was in a strange spot, but good water... more

The Belvoir is exactly how I would imagine a 1970s Intourist hotel in a medium-size Soviet city would be. From the staff that can be barely bothered to answer questions to a decor that has gone out of style at least twice to the chastely separated beds, it's all here. That being said, there's nothing actually wrong with the hotel... more

I stayed at the Hotel Belvoir for 4 days in August 2006. I think that it is possible to do rather better in Nijmegen. The rooms are relatively large for Dutch standards, more like North American sizes, but that's about all that recommends the place. The staff were repeatedly rude and unfriendly to other guests. The phones were all not... more

Nice clean hotel. Stayed their for 2 weeks last summer. Restaurant is clean and good food, but nothing to write home about! Atmosphere is OK. Close to everything...easy walk to City Center, and close to all highways. Employees were very helpful and quite friendly. Would stay there again. more

The hotel is handily located, just off the southern approach to the Waalbridge. It is a 10-minute stroll to Nijmegen's town centre, which is largely pedestrianised and has a very attractive 'Grote Markt'. A further 5 minutes will take you down to the south bank of the Waal River, one of Europe's busiest waterways, with a never-ending stream of interesting... more

Very much like the town in which it's located, the Belvoir could best be described as solid but unspectacular. Located on the edge of the city centre, some 10 minutes or so from the Grote Markt, the hotel is in an unprepossessing 1960s building. Inside, it's clean, well looked-after and entirely unremarkable. The rooms are of a typical size for... more

Nice hotel that will work. Rooms are comfortable but very typical European. The bright spot is the bar abd restaurant, which are terrific. Close to the downtown area as well. more
