My wife and I spent three nights on the houseboat in November 2014. We were very satisfied in every aspect. The owners were very accommodating to our needs. This was the first leg of a two week European vacation and got us off to a good start. Parking can be a bit problematic on arrival as the public parking adjacent... More

Thanks to Marco and Nieky for a lovely weekend on the houseboat Anthonia, it was very relaxing and the value was fantastic! Very inexpensive for a location right next to the town, but quiet and something different from your normal hotel or B&B. The service was perfect thank you. The parking is in a parking lot behind which can be... More

Very clean and tidy the owner couldn't do enough to help Close to some good restaurants and even free parking Novel way to stop over en route home from Germany On the waters edge but no mozzies to annoy The owner even provides a decent fan If passing thru would definitely look at staying again

An easy walk from the station to this houseboat on the river. We had a warm welcome to a clean, bright, comfortable self catering room with TV/DVD player and en suite shower. Ducks, coot and river boats passing by to keep you entertained. Really good breakfast on request and tea/coffee and milk provided. 5-10 minutes stroll to the heart of... More

We so enjoyed our stay on the River B&B Anthonia. Our room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed seeing the boats going by - always something new! We chose the self-catering option and purchased breakfast items in town. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Great value and a great experience!

Ideal location for stroll mainly along Rhine to town centre. Surprisingly spacious room with table, comfy chairs, TV & DVD player and kitchen area (as well as fairly firm twin beds and en suite.) Friendly proprietors (who speak v good English) and advised us as to events, shops, etc. We enjoyed seeing the ducks, grebes etc from our window and... More

We stayed 2 nights self catering. We were welcomed and shown the room (hairdryer included). The rooms were a good size and clean. The galley kitchen was well furnished and there was plenty of tea/coffee and milk. It was very relaxing and well loated for the town centre, however, not noisy. Arnhem itself was a pleasant surprise and we spent... More

The Anthonia has two guest rooms -- which you can book either as self-cetering or B and B (we did B and B). It's a houseboat -- and you overlook the water, and barges (and ducks) go by on the Rhine. A straightforward room and bath (there was no hairdryer), but exactly what we needed. It was a little hard... More
