I am currently sitting in my junior suite as I type. I booked this hotel because the Best Western website (http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/NL/Apeldoorn-hotels/BEST-WESTERN-Hotel-het-Loo/Hotel-Overview.do?propertyCode=92691&srcPage=SelectHotel&isMapOpen=true&selectedHotels=) indicates that the suites and junior suites "have a seperate sitting room" which would have been perfect for the crib we needed for our infant son. I have now been informed that no room in this entire hotel actually... More

I stayed in this place for over 3 weeks.. It was wonderful. Located close to the Castle & Market place is at walkable distance. Restaurant is nice with a fireplace & had good breakfast menu. Surely, I would recommend this hotel to my friends... But no room service for dinner.

Everything ok, food is very good, breakfast is good... except for the wireless. It's all locked, you can only visit websites, can't connect to work VPN or play any Internet game or download exchange emails. They say it's due to security, seems that nobody told'em that the problem is what gets in the network, not what goes out... Not planning... More

Arrived there very late, but, they were waited for me with very efficient and quick check in. Most of the rooms are nice and well maintained. Free parking. Most of the rooms are a bit far from the reception area. The public areas are a bit old..

I found the Het Loo very comfortable and the staff helpful. I felt safe here as a female traveller alone. The room was fairly plesant and the fixtures in the bathroom of a good standard, (there were two sinks surrounded by marble). The bed and pillows were resonably comforatble. You can get BBC 1 and 2 on the TV for free.... More

This is a good place to stay in Apeldoorn and the staff really do make the place, always friendly and helpful. We started in a room above the kitchen which was noisy from a broken air conditioning unit but were immediately moved to a balcony room. The rooms had a couple of easy chairs as well as the twin beds... More

Brilliant location, huge rooms, clean place.....all made up for a beautiful stay at this hotel. The staff are very affable and helpful, but I get the feeling that the hotel is understaffed. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE PLACE IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING.

The GB and Canadian track cycling teams were staying there so this added interest to our stay. The staff were very helpful. At first we walked to and from the centre but later we tried the buses from the bus stop right outside. The buses to the centre of Apeldoorn were frequent and cheap.

I had to come to Apeldoorn on business and there are no hotels in the city centre, so had to stay here - the location is not great for getting anywhere on foot or by public transport, and it's also very noisy, as it's on a main road. The rooms are shabby and poorly lit, with only single beds (if... More
