I stayed in De Keizerskroon for business and the first thing I noticed is that it seemed very dated. I haven't stayed in a hotel which uses a physical key in some time and it was quite irritating given that the key chain was the size of my phone. There was no iron or kettle etc in the room but... I can't believe the reviews I read on this hotel! It is the most gloomy, depressing, out of date, motel looking hotel. Rooms are a reasonable size, bathrooms are tiny, & the colour scheme is something out of the 60's. Yuck! Seriously need to renovate & catch up with the 21st century. The staff are wonderful, helpful & friendly. We... More

Wonderfully relaxing location. Walking distance from Paleis Het Loo. The bar has a nice outside terrace and serves good bites to accompany your drinks. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and serves excellent meals. Service is good. The rooms are somewhat dated, but clean and practical. The beds are of good quality, only the plastic mattrass cover which I now find... More

Very good accommodation and excellent service. Food is good as well as the cleaning level of the rooms. People working and nice and kind. Only one thing: such a good hotel should have the air conditioning in the rooms!!!

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal! Upon arrival you are greeted by a great staff who are incredible helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. In fact after returning late one night, some members of our group were hungry and asking directions to a close by restaurant. The concierge offered and made sandwiches for the group as opposed to us... More

we arrived here on Friday the 13th June after riding 265 miles on a motorbike nearing the end of our European tour. we found the hotel to be situated in a quiet residential area which had its drawbacks for finding a range of restaurants or bars within walking distance.however given that we were tired we chose to stay in and... Very nice rooms and restaurant. It was a great place to pamper ourselves and take a day off in the middle of the trip. Very close to a former palace which is a popular place to tour the grounds. The pool and sauna are worth a visit or two. The keys are on a large fob which we found at... More

It’s the “old fashioned” locks of using a key. I had a hard time taking the key out. You'll have to make sure it lines up somehow to get the key out. It must have either been me or my lock was wonky. When leaving the hotel, I left my key at the reception as I didn't have room in... More

We had booked this hotel from home well before our trip. Had we known how good it was, we would have arranged for others while in the country. This one is knows as the King's Crown. Very important now as they just got a King! The bed was so comfortable and the pillows the best we encountered in our three... More

This hotel is nicely situated in a quiet residential area away from the main road. We tried the "informal" bar and restaurant and food was ok. The staff is very friendly and suggested a free upgrade when they heard about my reason for the visit. Breakfast is very nice with a wide choice of fresh bread, cheese, fruit as well... More
