Hotel is quite close to a very noisy club...very difficult to sleep with the noise (they do supply earplugs though). Note that there is no air-conditioning. more

My family and I stayed in Hotel de Jonge on Saturday, March 18 2006. The facilities are adequate and have some charm as they are in the centre of Assen. However, the amount of noise heard throughout the night is problematic for anyone who needs sleep. The street noise caused by several drunken parties until 3 a.m. was very audible... more
The best thing about this hotel is the lovely restaurant on the ground floor. This is a cosy, warm place. My room was cheap and basic (no complaints on that aspect) but everything was extremely worn.
