The hotel is situated perfectly at a major railway station, very good if you continue your traip by train. They seem to constantly try to refurbish it to beautify the 70ies-style building. The lower floors of this hotel are already renovated. The upper floors which have a nice view over the city are still very old and not very comfortable... but the view !!! The best is the Jacuzzi at the gym on the top floor, where you can sit in and have a wonderful view over the city, dont miss that.... more

When we come in Zurich (well, not very often) , we'd like to stay at Swissotel. We appreciate valuable offers, the location, the parking (if included in the offer), the breakfast (maybe better than Sprungli). The room is well equipped and not too small. This time we ask for specific pillows, improving the bed comfort. more

Stayed here for Easter 3 nights. Pinnacle room was on a easter package, which was ok with large windows looking oposite the shopping center. Nothing special. Some noise from trams and trains. We booked an Easter package here;it was still available the weekend after. Family of four, two rooms. The package included the breakfast buffet, access to the rooftop spa/sauna/pool, train passes, a room upgrade and a gift of Swiss chocolates. Having been to Zurich a few times, and having previously stayed in hotels based at Zurich Airport, I don't think there is a better hotel than Swissotel Zurich. I stayed there for only 2 nights, because of a business meeting. The hotel was ok for its purpose, with clean rooms and good meeting rooms. The localization is good, in front of a train station and near the airport (by train). The staff was very nice, helping me finding things to do in Zurich! more
