Overall the hotel was nice - I loved the breakfast, the rooms were small but nicely decorated, wifi was not free and everything, including food, was outrageously expensive, but I guess that's Zurich, I failed to find a place there that would not be outrageously expensive. Overall, a decent 4 star hotel. So, the only real problem there was that... More

For starters, the hotel is closing down at the end of August, and it figures due to the fact that the rooms are in desperate need of a renovation. It is nowhere near the caliber of a Renaissance hotel, quite frankly not even a lower end Marriott based on the rooms. Lobby: 4 Stars The lobby was quite nice, and... More

Hotel very nice and modern. I had a refurbished room and all was good. But food prices outrageous even for Zurich. 40 dollars for hamburger. 30 dollars for chicken breast sandwich. 20 dollars for shot of basic blended scotch. Soup 15 dollars. Because of isolated location, you have no choice. Would not return because of that, and I was on... More

I can't believe this is a Marriott hotel. The cooked breakfast made me ill two days in a row and the room was small. This is never a 5 star hotel, maybe 3. Free wifi is confined to parts of the lobby (when you can get it) and checking-in tour groups back up into the seating areas making the place... More

We usually stay at Starwood properties unless we are playing around with Priceline. So we ended up here for 1 night on a roll of the Priceline dice. It is in a non-scenic industrial park area but fairly easy to find. And as other reviews state, the rooms are a bit outdated and basic (but the toiletries are Tokyo Milk... More

It's a premium hotel, with premium prices in one of the more expensive cities all over the world. If this was followed by premium services it would be ok and acceptable (or even great), but the hotel has old furniture (imagine a 5 star-hotel with a CRT TV, that's right those big old TV's and I'm not talking about a... What threw me is that this is rated a 5* hotel. While the lobby is quite grand, the rooms are pretty basic, worn and old fashioned. That said, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was professional. This is a great hotel if you need a hotel near the airport. The hotel is right on the... More

Quite a smart hotel, convenient for the industrial part of Zurich and not far from the airport. Horrible views from the back of the hotel of railway lines and pylons. Really noisy with the trains going by, so it is impossible to sleep with the windows open. The room was comfortable, room service food was good, and the public areas... More
