Very good hotel very modern clean rooms. Good value for money in Zurich. Breakfast was ok but limted fruit. Also coffe and tea refresh was limited in the rooms and one English cjannel in room (Sky News) Quite location noise from emergency vehicles at night. Easy to get into the centre. Red light area close by. Use ramp 100m to... More

We stayed at Hotel St. Josef for 1 night while on a long layover on Sept 12. We absolutely LOVED everything about it: perfect location, very helpful staff, large rooms (which is uncommon in Europe), very clean rooms, wi-fi, we didn't eat at breakfast so I can't comment. The only unfortunate thing was that we only stayed 1 night. But... More

Very good 3 star hotel close to Alstadt (Old Town Zurich) with its many restaurants and shops. Staff, especially Maria, was friendly, and efficient. Good breakfast. The restaurant is closed for lunch & diner on the weekends. Only negative was the sheets, which were coarse. The duvet was very good.

We were greeted by a very efficient and friendly receptionist. This hotel is located just a short distance from the Zurich HB train station and close to Old Town as well as the shopping Zurich is known for. We were so glad we chose to stay here. Room was very clean with lots of storage and great lighting. Since it... More

Stayed here for work. It was excellently located for Zurich University and is an 8-10 min walk from the central station. Room was clean and comfortable but a bit small. Ask for a big one if you can. Breakfast was solid but not exceptional. Nice croissants and jams though. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Located in the old town, st Josef's is a short wall to the main train station and the shopping district. You may want to ask for a rear room as the trams beginning running at 5AM. It is a steep walk up stairs from the main street. Not a hot breakfast but very good selection of breads, cheeses and fruits.... More

Just spent two days at this hotel. By the rest of the world standards it is not value for money, but by Zurich standards very good. The room was clean, bright and spacious. The bed was very comfortable although the pillows were a little small. The bathroom was clean and functional but the shower was a little crazy with water... More

Located approximately 20 minutes walk from station with suitcases (the last 10 minutes up hill and stairs). Hotel is close to major sites and restaurants in the old town area. We had a relax double room in the Annex building which is only 20 metres from the main building and restaurant. Room (810) was large and well appointed. The bathroom... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2 adjacent rooms with our children and enjoyed ourselves a lot. The reception lady was very helpful with information and got us a hotel parking space. We never heard any traffic noise or other guests and slept well on the very comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety of... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a great room (424), lots of space, modern decor, very clean. Located above (up a ramp) and just across the street from the northernmost point of the old town, (at the moment overlooking at some distance a small, non-threatening and discrete area which seemed to be a mini red light district). Close... More
