Coneveint stay -closed to main station which means you can go anyway in Switzerland. -friendly staff -very clean -closed to major attractions. -recomend to see more reviews in booking.com (Hotel City Zürich-same hotel).

Does what it says. Free wifi, great bathroom, comfy bed, plenty TV channels, excellent breakfast, perfect location, and the cheapest around. AND, the reception staff were friendly. Not pretentious, and great value .

We stayed one night in the City Hotel in September 2011. Well situated just a few minutes walk from the main station. Rooms large and with good facilities, although there seemed to be an electrical problem in my room with the fax machine switching itself on and off and displaying power setting problems. They offers internet connection with LAN cable and from TV. Both are with poor connection! Delicious breakfast, one of best croissants I ever had and city center is within walking distance. Near to Zurich main station.

Hotel is definitely value for money. Staff is very helpful and polite.

The front desk staff does not even acknowledge your presence when you enter the hotel. They are very unfriendly (even though I am a fluent German speaker). My tiny room faced a noisy street. There is no air conditioning and if you leave the window open to let cool air in from outside, the traffic noise will drive you crazy.... More

The staff were really helpful, the rooms were clean and well presented as per a typical business hotel. Free internet in first floor salon, terraced area on fourth floor, decent breakfast too.
