I thought I was overpaying for this hotel but like the location. It was 100 steps from the entrance to the train station and a quick walk to all the hot spots in Zurich. This hotel is a must for location only. The rooms are big and clean but the service and breakfast are ho hum. more

This hotel is literally across the road from the Zurich HB and considering the proximity to the train station is extremely quiet. My husband and I stayed at Wallhalla Hotel in January 2005 for three nights and were not able to sleep because of the street noise, eventough our room was not facing the busy street. The rooms were clean. We would not stay there again because of the street noise. more
