Large room. I'm sure it was beautiful when it was last updated in 1970. It was decorated in "early old lady". We had to mop up the bathroom after taking showers. We couldn't wait to get out of there! more

Traditional European hotel located in the center of Zurich. The location was perfect for the Euro Cup of Soccer, it was a short walk to everything. The staff went the extra mile for helping us for everything (finding restaurants, booking trips, taxis etc. etc.). We just stayed at the Hotel Europe for one night and were pleased with our stay. We got a corner room a few flights up. The bed was two twins pushed together on one frame, common in Europe. The room had a chandelier, red rugs and red velvet drapes that were great at darkening the room even in the afternoon.... more
