The hotel interior is very nice. The hotel is modern, very clean, and roomy. The executive lounge is one of the nicest I have visited. The concierge was very helpful in pointing us to a couple of restaurant options. Our room on the corner had a fantastic view of the river and lake. The location of the hotel was ok.... more

We stayed as part of a layover for only one night. The location by the train station (easy walk, even with luggage) and the prime shopping district is great. Its true that there is nothing really immediately outside the hotel, but it really isn't far from everything in central Zurich. After 3 weeks in Italy we loved the executive lounge... more

We stayed for 7 nights and had a nice stay. We upgraded to a business class room which provided extra space and a very nice view over the river. Rooms are not very large, but I think you will find this to be the case in most hotels in Zurich. We were travelling with 2 small children and enjoyed the... more

I stayed for 2 nights in the Marriott with my 19 year old nephew. We booked one of the Panorama Suites (the small one, there are more than one) to save money. It was on the top floor with a balcony with lovely view of the old town in the distance and river. Suite was adequate but not very large... more

The only reason we picked this hotel was because we were staying on my husband's points. Upon arrival we got a room that was super tiny and the walls super thin, you could literally hear conversations in the next room. Given my husband spends more nights at a marriott than at home, he complained and was moved to another room... more

My wife an I stayed 1 night while on vacation in Europe. Hotel has no shuttle from airport so we had to take the train running from the airport to the main train station which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We booked a standard room but where given the option of upgrading to a superior room for... more

My wife and I stayed at the Zurich Marriott for a single night in June and we thought it met the Marriott standard for cleanliness and good service. The hotel is just a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) from the train station and the river runs along the front of the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, although it... more

Rooms in tower are OK, rather like standard Marriott rooms anyplace. But the rooms in the annex to the back, across the skybridge, are awful. The mattresses are very thin and saggy. Very uncomfortable. The bathrooms have no ventalation. The hotel location is not all that good.....it's several blocks away from anything, really. There are many hotels right in the... more

The outlook of this hotel is mediocre. It does not possess the grand entrance as I’ve seen in the other Marriott hotels. The lobby and other areas of the hotel are extremely clean and comfortable. The room I stayed is above expectation. We arrived early, around 11AM and they checked us in without any trouble. The beds are super comfortable.... more

This is one of Marriotts greatest hotels I have stayed in. The service experience was extraordinary and the view from the room just perfect. I overlooked the city of Zurich and the lake and could also see the alps. The room was newly renovated and very well eqiped. I had dinner at the eCHo (swiss restaurant) wich served great swiss... more
