Second time , tiny room the booked price was not the paid price, and not even a free glass of water An impossibly slow wifi,. Great location... More

Dear guest Thank you very much for staying with us twice in 2014. We are very sorry to read about your sleepless night in summer. Luckily the road/tram track works were finished in early autumn of 2014 and our guests can experience once again the quiet and yet central spot of our Boutique Hotel Townhouse. Your description of your second... More

I have now stayed in this hotel several times and its great. A boutique hotel which has a cool britannia theme. Rooms are nicely appointed. Impeccably clean. Each room has a dvd player so you can borrow films from the reception - free of charge!! The wifi is good and free. 4G reception in rooms is acceptable - not fantastic.... More

It's a nice little hotel but "boutique" is probably a bit of an exaggeration. The rooms are tidy and comfortable and well appointed. If you expect a hotel to be four walls and a bed you will find it a bit expensive. If you like a bit of luxury it might seem a bit thin and lacking character.

The hotel staff leaves at night. There is no round-the-clock desk here, no concierge. They have a bar in the lobby that is on the honor system. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the main train station. We asked for a room with a street view. It turned out to have a wine bar across the street with patrons... More

I have stayed twice already in the Townhouse Boutique Hotel for business trips and have always been delighted about my stays. The hotel is in a great location and 3 seconds from the main train station away. The staff is very friendly, they upgraded me immediately when there was a little issue with the initially given room to me... I... More

Stayed 1 night, a stop over to get to Germany. Sooo near the train station but don’t bother asking for directions as it is not a very popular hotel among locals, they don’t even recognize the name of the street! Just head straight down the road from where you exit from the station and turn left after the first block.... More

This was a great hotel for the price. The location is unbeatable for train travelers as it is a 3 minute walk from the station. The concept is a little quirky with a reception desk that closes for the night but that is becoming more common in my experience. The "Large Double Room" was nice and decently appointed. Not very... Firstly the location is fantastic, two streets from the train station and in the middle of Zurich's main pedestrianised shopping area! However the hotel is NOT a boutique townhouse hotel in the traditional British sense. Situated in an office block above shops the room was a little worn and basic. The Molton Brown toiletries didn't include conditioner, the towels are... More

Walking into this hotel feels like arriving at a typical office in the area until you make it up to the reception floor. From then on out the place does not fail to impress, from generous room sizes to quirky retro-poppy decor to a great location five minutes away from the train station. This was a great find and I... Loved this quirky hotel in Zurich which we had originally booked for 2 nights early in our trip so much that we booked again for our last night. We had a room on the 5th floor with our own balcony. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire 4 week trip as was the bed linen. Staff at reception... More
