I stayed here for a business meeting and enjoyed the location near the train station and short walk to my office. Pleasant room which looked out onto a wooded area. I left the window open and was able to hear the local clock tower chiming quarter hourly. The only negative comment is regarding check out on the weekend. The hotel... More

Zug is a quiet town that is center to a number of multi national businesses. In the middle of town is the City Garden which is mainly a business traveler hotel. The property is clean, well organized and functional. There is no charm in this part of Zug, nor in this hotel. If you want efficient and modern rooms, pleasant... More

Overall I like the hotel and would recommend it. However if you check-in on a weekend morning, you might be surprised to arrive to an empty reception desk as the weekend morning reception desk is serviced from the sister establishment - Park hotel which is located 3mins walk away.

Hotel was nice, clean, sleek & modern (but furniture very uncomfortable). Would be one of those places you stay in and forget the name of except for the great service! Front desk staff very personable, engaging and super helpful. Katerina, especially, went out of her way to help us over and over. She gave us great tips for dining, entertainment,... More

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in October during a business trip. Well, I have to admit that it looks better on photos than in reality... Overall, it is an OK hotel, although I would not rate it more than this.... Pros: - very quite - pretty spacious rooms Cons: - I did not love the design, neither... More

Very clean, modern and spacious room in a 4 star hotel that is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station in ZUG. The grounds are well kept (very green) and the surrounding area is pleasant with many food and clothing stores within a block or two. In general the staff running the hotel were excellent. I arrived... More

I've actually got used to it and like it more than before. The best thing about the City Garden is how quiet the hotel is, which really helps you to a great and relaxing night sleep. Good comfortable bed, and once you get used to the somewhat "weird" layout of the room, you will enjoy it Breakfast choice is fine.... More

I was staying in Zug on business for the week. This hotel is centrally located and very convienient to the shops and restaurants. The staff was very accomodating and polite. The breakfast was included and though simple very good. As usual the rooms are smaller than in the US but clean, quiet and comfortable. All in all a fine business... More

It is a short walk from the train station when suddenly the mirror effect of the glass planes strike you upon arrival. Casting your eves from the reception over the lounge and dining area toward the bar at the back a person notices that the open plan approach is style-fully laid out. the decoration is not over powering, but enough... I love the contemporary and playful style of this hotel! There are plenty of fun little details in the architecture. The room has an open plan, with the bathroom area exposed to the sleeping area. The color palette is white and a hue of green I have not seen since the 70's... but very fun. The room had enough square... More
