As one of the oldest hotels in the region, staying at Hotel Masson was akin to going back in time to 19th century Europe. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony, breakfast was delicious, and Madam was very gracious in accommodating our every whim. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. And within a 10 minute walk to Castle... More

Oldest hotel in the region, managed by the same family for over 200 years! Homy atmosphere, fantastic food, panaroma lake view (from terrece of 1st floor), and within walking distance to the favorate Chateau Chillion. Do check in before you go to the chateau because the hotel provides a visitor's card for half price of admission fee and free bus-taking.

This hotel really does have old world charm. I'm not really into the antique look but I found this hotel to have real ambience. Madam is always around to make sure everything runs smoothly and their dining room serves excellent food. If I had to fault something it would be that it is up a rather steep hill to walk... More

We spebt 2 nights near lake geneva and booked at masson hotel. It is an historic hotel( built in 1829). It seems they succesfuly keep the heritage of rhos place. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is very reach and tasty. The service is great - we had to leave very early to the airport so they gave us... More

We reserved upon short notice with assistance with a knowledgeable Swiss friend. This is not a chain hotel...If you require the comforts of an engineered 5 star then, perhaps, look further. If you can imagine enjoying a tea in the lovely sitting room with sunny afternoon views of Lac Leman, and later a delicious set dinner in a room you... More

My wife and I stayed at this charming hotel at the end of September 2013. We booked a week's halfboard holiday through Inghams. We arrived and were met at the door by a young man who grabbed our heavy bags and swept us up to the first floor reception where the owner welcomed us and showed us to our small... More

Yes Montreux is truly buzzing during the Jazz Festival. For us it was a heady mix of music, good food, and the most delightful hotel which has character and distinction. Equipped with all you need, and for a very competitive price, the added advantages were great service, in a peaceful setting with authenticity that would be hard to beat. Close... More

If want a Hotel where you are greeted by name, have personal, friendly service, with lots of character, wonderful views in a very tranquil spot, then this is the Hotel for you. We had a room that had its own terrace and what a lovely spot to sit and chill after a day sightseeing, but there are plenty of seats... More

My wife and I stayed in the hotel Masson for one night in the beginning of October. It was our understanding that hotel is being run like B&B (which may be a good thing), as we were met by the owner’s wife and she offered us a nice room with the lake view and the balcony. The hotel is located... More

This hotel turned out to better than we had expected; having seen the review in the holiday brochure, comments here and looked at the pictures on Google maps I had expected a hotel that was more basic, up a steep hill and likely to be noisy from the motorway. None of this was true (well the walk up the path... More
