My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at this hotel on June 29 to July 1st. It’s about a 10 minute brisk walk (including a steep hill) from the train station to the hotel. Depending upon the nature and quantity of your luggage, this can range from a pleasant walk to a tiresome addition to a long journey.... more

Stayed for one night on June 10th. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. You do need to check in at the hotel across the street, which didn't inconvenience us any. It's a nice classical hotel with friendly staff. It's a short walk from the centre and the walk along the lake has very pretty views! We went when there's the Christmas market - it was lovely! more

The Villa Toscane is certainly a nice old building with character and the rooms, although small (At least ours was, especially the bathroom) are clean and reasonable well appointed.
