I stayed in a triple room with my family in late August. The hotel is an old building with a touch of history. The ceiling is very high and the reception staff is friendly and helpful. Every year..september time we meet for the Freddie mercury weekend and always head for the Hotel Helvetie...It sums up what Montreux is all about, quite, peacefull,very grand..not in your face sort of way, the staff are very helpful, food excellent, rooms clean, tidy and the walk to the statue is less that 2 mins away so it is Excellent value... more

stayed here for a couple of days. though the hotel is a little far away from the train station, i would still recommend it. its a converted victorian mansion with very pretty garden, sitting rooms and period features. our room was really pretty. didnt like the shower room much... overall an excellent stay. wished we'd stayed longer. more

We arrived a montruex train station. Then we followed the hotel map printed from this website but realized that it's a wrong one. Anyway, we managed to find it in the end.
