Stayed in this hotel in october,opposed to staying in Geneva and paying loads of money for a one star hotel. Montreux is quite small and can get boring if you don't go for the local attractions (boat trip) and viit neighborhoods such as Vevey, Geneve, etc. I found the hotel quite good, it is old but room is very big.... more

This hotel is in a fabulous spot, right on the lake front. But for the price, we were a bit disappointed in our room. Old, stained ceiling, walls and carpet. The bathroom has been redone and it was quite lovely. Front desk service was ok adequate - they didn't go out of their way to be overly friendly or helpful.... more

We stayed over Christmas and had an excellent time. Our rooms overlooked the lakes and once the weather cleared we got exceptional views across to the mountain ranges. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had Christmas lunch at the hotel which was average and very expensive but there are very limited options in Montreux for Christmas. more

I booked 2 rooms for mid august of this year.We arrived around 3 or 4 pm , checked in.,and heade to our rooms.which were connected as per our request.They were facing the lake as well.
