Great hotel and location! We stayed at the Villa Eden which was next door to the hotel and run by the hotel itself. The hotel staff was great and very helpful with information. The view from my balcony itself makes me want to go there again!

I have been here three time for a science conference held within the hotel. It is a great location next to the lake. The service is of excellent quality and the food at the restaurant just perfect. They have a great selection of desserts that I could never resist. I intend to return with my husband. Thank you for a... More

We stayed in Montreux for two nights, arriving by train from Italy. This hotel is an easy walk from the station (though Montreux is very compact so really any hotel in the city proper is not hard to reach). I really enjoyed this hotel. I tend to prefer small, boutique places, but if you want to stay right on water,... More

I had 23 rooms booked in this hotel for the week of my wedding. Everything was fine at first, the hotel isn't new, the rooms are old, but I liked the fact that it was on the lake, for my relatives coming from all over the world. Before the wedding when I came from geneva for my second appointment with... More

We booked a de lux double room which was very tired and tatty, definitely not worthy of the Expedia four star rating. The hotel is extremely run down from the entrance hall to the room we stayed in. The carpets are stained, paintwork chipped. Our room had dirty curtains, odd bulbs in the chandelier with glass bits missing. The room... More

This hotel has old world charm with lovely old fashioned furniture, walls & chandeliers in the main entrance. Yes it is a bit tired & could do with refurbishment but overall I loved its charm. We stayed for 3 nights in the hotels next door rooms (not in the main hotel). Free wi fi - great! The room overlooks the... More

The hotel is very nicely located directly at the lake promenade. Unfortunately, this is the only good thing I have to say. The rooms are worn out, probably not renovated in a long, long time. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms tiny, and the facilities (restaurants, fitness, etc.) all not what you would expect at such a price point. I... More

Mantreaux was my first destination in the 8 day Switzerland trip and what better place then Eden Palace to begin with ! ! ! Just everything in the right place, the location of the hotel is an ultimate one - a 10min walk from the Railway station, 1 min walk to the bus stop, restaurant at the Lake side and... More

This is the second time we have visited this hotel and we have loved it both times. This time we booked a deluxe room with a lake view balcony and just adored it. The room is superb, huge tv, memory foam toppers on the beds, towelling gowns, slippers, mini-bar, safe you don't have to pay for and magnificent breakfast -... More

OK. It's by the lake, it was once a beautiful building in turn of the century Montreux I'm sure, but it has been sadly neglected and really is nowhere near deserving of it's four stars. We booked a renovated family room and tired after our journey went to find room 201 which was dingy, smelly, dreary and completely depressing. Paint... More
