The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded upon arrival as they had messed up our booking. Lovely large clean room with a beautiful view of the lake! The hotel overall was nice and beautifully decorated. there was an all you can eat Chinese buffet over the road so we were happy! Great hotel for any occasion!

We spent one night here in late March during a car tour of Switzerland. The room was perfect, had a very luxurious bathroom, with everything you could want. Staff was very friendly and attentive. That wasn't hard since I think we made up 3 of maybe 5 guests in the whole place on a stormy Sunday eve. We had a... More

Spring alongside Lake Geneva/Leman is glorious; such care is taken of flowers lining waterway. Wonderful lake and mountain views; best place for aspirant jogger- 5km to left is chateau chillon and 6km to right to boat harbour (including return). Hotel itself is aging old dame, but has nice conference room, comfortable rooms, reasonably fair at downstairs restuarant. Pricing seems to... More

For some reason this hotel is hugely underrated on tripadvisor. I find that quite amusing, but people have their opinions and they may have some reasons. I could not find any flaw. The BIG positives: 1. Right on the Montreux lake front, the famous promenade bustling with variety of flowers in full bloom. If you want to experience the Montreux... More

It's better than 'average' but wouldn't describe it as 'Very Good' The location is perfect, right on the promenade, less than 5 mins walk from Freddie Mercury statue but make sure you get a lake view from your room. If you don't, you have a rather expensive, slightly dated room with a view of the flats and buildings behind. At... More

We stayed in Montreux for just one night and wish it could be longer. This hotel is the best one I ever had. The staff was excellent and attentive since the first hello. The room was a bit pricey but worth it. We got a room with the lake view which was a must. It was spacious, clean, grand, and... More

A beautiful hotel in the centre of Montreux, there is a good restaurant and if you stay in the hotel you got 10% off a meal. Which is good as most restaurants are really expensive. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. Rooms lovely, spacious, and fantastic views over the lake. Very highly recommended.

Very helpful front desk staff greeted us on our arrival, the rooms were very comfortable and clean.Breakfast was served in a most beautiful salon with views over the lake. We found this hotel good value which can be difficult to find in Switzerland as a result of their strong currency. Also the scenic train journey to Gstaad and Interlaken is a must... More

This property was excellent, I like so much this kind of hotels in Victorian-style or Belle-epoque style, with old charm and luxury. We had a lake-view room and luckily the weather allowed us to enjoy the spectacular views. Everything was comfortble and nice - the room, the beds, the bathroom. And the Hotel is very quite, because there are no... More
