The hotel is well-situated: it is one block off lots a thriving pedestrian neighborhood full of shops, and close to a Métro (subway) station, but not itself in a way of traffic and thus quiet. We stayed here for 3 nights before the Lausanne Marathon. The hotel was good value compared to others in the town, located in a quiet area, and clean and friendly. We booked this hotel as we could not get anywhere else near Lake Geneva at a reasonable price. The hotel itself is quite clean and well run. Lausanne however was quiet and a bit boring.
