The lakeside location was a major attraction as we walked by and dinner lived up to expectations. Antipasti selection was vast and is highly recommended. Main courses, desserts and wines all excellent. Service friendly and efficient. A definite return visit next time in Lausanne.

A meal outside on a warm summer evening. Service was slow, however they were busy. The soup was meant to cold, however they offered to serve it warm for me and it was delicious. The tuna main course was heavenly, I had it served rare and it was wonderful. Coffee was served with a mini bite size choc ice. A... More

Taxi driver at rly station never heard of this hotel despite it being next to the Beau Rivage, the best known in Lausanne. Entrance hidden at the back. concrete reception with one receptionist on desk. Very large, with high-ceiling old-fashioned bedroom with conveniently-connecting second room. Bathroom ultra-modern layout. Gloomy wall lighting with no central lighting. View from balcony overlooked Lake... More

Although the location is beautiful and the rooms, we stayed in a junior suite, were spacious and well decorated with even a terras, it is not worth the over 400 Swiss Franc a night. Upon arrival not staff came to help us with luggage or greet us. When we asked the reception to take stop the heating system in the... More

Hotel d'Angleterre is the sister property of famous Beaux Rivage. Located right next door, this property is a bit more modern and less formal yet with the same level of service. The Italian restaurant is wonderful especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. The property is made up of several... More
