The Côté Jardin restaurant has two things: Location and views. But the service and the food let down the experience. Waiters are rude and uninvolved. The wine menu is lacking. Avoid if you can. Only an option for client entertaining, not for private dinners. more

This was my 4th time to the Lausanne Palace. I love it for the location, right in the centre. It offers wonderful combination of tradition and modernity. When you walk through the corridor to your room, you feel the "good old times", you would expect to meet anytime people of the last century. When entering the room, everything is new... more

This property has an exceptional location in central Lausanne -- perched on a hill about 5 minutes walking distance from the main station. The views of Lake Geneva from the upper floors is jaw dropping. Rooms are spacious and well maintained but a bit dated. Bars and restaurants are very stylish with a good vibe / crowd. The hotel does... more

Lausanne Palace is situated amid a mildly bustling middle-sized European city. The front of the hotel faces a busy intersection that features a very hip bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. The rear, which is where our balcony exited, overlooks a beautiful view of Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). On a clear day, the Swiss Alps are visible from either horizon... more

This hotel is a very old school, elegant and luxurious. Great, friendly staff, they really go an extra step to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The gym is excellent, the staff replaces your towel every time you leave the treadmill and brings you water etc. The spa is absolutely perfect. Ask for Steve. I have to disagree with... more

Was there with my son for a seminar. This is the official hotel used for the seminar for at least the 2 years. Was greeted with friendly service and the staff is very helpful and assisted us with our enquiries. The hotel decor was magnificent and grand. I simply love the way the lobby is done up. Will stay there... more

I stayed two nights at Lausanne Palace in Oct. The hotel is excellently located in center of town, shortly connected by tram to station and within walking distance to banks, shopping center. I could easily walk from the hotel, do some shopping and come back to drop the bags. By evening I was tired and founf my bathroom has infrared... more

Excellent stay. Called the hotel directly the night before our stay for reservations and secured a great rate. Management upgraded to Lake view room due to noise of road construction in front of the hotel. Our first floor room had huge walkout patio, plenty of living space and a very generous bathroom. The staff was very friendly, helpful with local... more

Room service very slow. Spa disapointing. Not the best service for the level of prices. A little bit out of fashion... needs to be "reshuffled". Nevertheless the comfort of the rooms is still at a very goog level more
