The hotel Regina is a great place to stay. Its affordable and nice (a difficult combination to find in this town). The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. This is a quaint hotel located about 200-300 meters away from the metro station in lausanne (though the metro was being repaired so you had to take the bus).
